Day #17 ✅
Building the idea
Now that I know what I’m building, it’s time to build it.
The idea is we build a tool that helps analyze the product reviews of competitors on reddit, amazon, and trustpilot then helps you identify gaps in their product.
I was thinking of building it using zapier but it seems like it would take more time to build and troubleshoot it.
Instead of dealing with all of that, I’m going to instead do everything manually on the back-end.
I will set up a form and paywall on the landing page where business owners can fill in their competitors name on a form and then I manually find negative reviews and send the quality ones to the customer.
If it takes off, I will figure out a way to turn it into a product later.
But the most important part is the validation right now.
Here is how the solution works:
First off, this is the landing page:

Here is how it’s going to work:
Customer visits the website and purchases analysis report.
I take the name of the company and search them up on Reddit, Trustpilot, Amazon, and everywhere else.
I then compile all of my findings into a Notion page and send a link through email to the customer.
It’s definitely not perfect and requires a lot of manual work but it’s a good start, especially for the validation stage.
Till the next time folks ✌️
