Day #1 of 1000 Sub Challenge 🛫

Welcome to Day #1 of the 1000 newsletter subs challenge.

I decided to start slow today.

Instead of in my usual fashion promoting the hell out of the newsletter, I wrote our first issue.

Here is the link.

And just like any first - it’s not amazing.

I’m going to play around with conciseness, frequency, and information in the next couple of weeks to see what I like and what the market likes.

Now that we have our first issue - in classic Neo fashion I’ll start sending cold DMs about it on Twitter for Day #2.

The plan is to get our first 100 or so subs purely from ColdDMs on Twitter.

Then try to grow using word of mouth (+ well built referral program), snippets on social media, ads, collabs, etc.

Don’t worry - I’ll share every single thing I do wether or not it works on here so you can take what works and scrap what doesn’t.

A little side note about my past challenges

There are 6 of you subscribed to this personal newsletter and a few other that view it through web.

I want you guys to know I don’t like quitting challenges.

The $100 MRR challenge ended prematurely.

Mostly because I ran into legal issues.

My god damn US visa doesn’t allow me to earn money and Gumroad (and every other payment processor) wants a social security number.

It sucks having to quit or end things prematurely but its life.

We do what we can with what we have.
